What is included in the price that I pay for loo hire at my event?

Our prices for portable loo hire always include the following:


  • Delivery and collection based on weekdays during working hours
  • Set-up & full on-site testing of loos in situ at the event
  • All consumables – loos are fully stocked with loo rolls, soaps, hand towels and chemicals
  • 24 hour customer telephone hotline, should you need to contact us urgently.


What do the units need to run?

All we need is power, a 13 amp socket will do. If you are hiring a generator then that is OK as well, as we can connect to a standard 16 amp supply on a C-form socket. Access to a water supply is sometimes helpful, depending on the event, but is not essential. However, these are details we will go through with you before you commit to hiring a unit.


Will I need to provide anything for the unit, other than power?

No, all units come fully stocked with loo paper, hand towels, soap etc and are ready to use once set up on site.


How many portable loos do I need to hire at my event?

This will vary according to the number of guests attending and the duration of your event. Please call us to discuss your requirements.


Where will the loo(s) be positioned?

The single most important consideration is to ensure you have adequate space for a medium size van or 4×4 vehicle with trailer to deliver the loo(s). As a rough guide, please allow 9ft width and 12ft height clearance at the site location. You will find the dimensions for each type of unit on the image gallery of our website and additional space needs to be allowed for maneuvering, turning and getting in to the mobile loo unit.


Loos should be placed on flat, firm ground (ideally gravel, tarmac, concrete or hard-standing), but can also be on grass as long as it’s not too wet!). We don’t want to damage lawns or driveways when man-handling loos into their final position, so it’s always worth having a ‘Plan B’ for where to site the units as unfortunately we cannot be liable for any accidental damage caused at the delivery address.


What if there is a technical problem on site?

All of our luxury portable loo units are very new and well looked after which makes them extremely reliable, but for peace of mind we provide an emergency hotline for our customers to call us on if there are any problems during the event. We will always try and solve any problems initially over the phone (sometimes people simply forget to turn on the power!), and if that fails then we will send out a technician to remedy the problem. You are not charged for this service, however if our technician is called out without due cause then a call-out charge will be payable.
